Community support

Members of the Fondation
are local charitable organizations
local charities recognized by government authorities and financed in part by donations to our Foundation.

The missions of each organization are different, but all converge towards the same goal:

fight against HIV/AIDS in Quebec.

As key players in the fight against HIV/AIDS, our member organizations are working to facilitate access to screening and prevention, to support people living with HIV/AIDS, and to combat discrimination, thereby helping to curb the epidemic.

How are our members selected?

  • Have the status of an NPO (non-profit organization in Quebec), a charitable organization (Canada) and have been formed on the initiative of people in the community.
  • Be free to determine its missions, orientations and practices.
  • Demonstrate their roots in the community.
  • Maintain an associative and democratic life.
  • Pursue a social mission specific to the organization and conducive to social transformation.
  • Have practices focused on the globality of the chosen issue.
  • Be managed by a Board of Directors independent of the public network.
