Job description
Reporting to the Board of Directors, the coordinator is responsible for identifying, planning, managing, and overseeing the various initiatives and programs outlined in the Foundation’s action plan. They are in charge of organizing and coordinating fundraising campaigns and other related activities.
This person demonstrates strong leadership and excels at maintaining positive relationships with donors and partners. They will also ensure the sound management of the Foundation’s human, financial, and material resources, as well as provide support to the Board of Directors and its various committees.

More specifically, the coordinator assumes the following responsibilities in collaboration with the Board of Directors:
Management
- Plan and oversee fundraising strategy activities;
- Develop strategies and new fundraising initiatives in agreement with the Board of Directors;
- Lead and supervise human resources (1 to 2 people);
- Prepare budgets and manage financial operations;
- Document and ensure follow-up on the Foundation’s activities;
- Prepare agendas for Board of Directors and committee meetings;
- Write meeting transcript;
- Manage all tasks related to the research and solicitation of individual and corporate donors;
- Participate in various public relations activities to promote the Foundation’s visibility.
Qualification
Education and experience:
- University degree or equivalent combination of education: training in management, communications, or marketing;
- Experience in management and communications;
- Experience in fundraising and marketing is an asset;
- Understanding of the regulations governing charitable organizations;
- Functional written and spoken English. Excellent writing skills in French;
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and research tools;
- Knowledge of Prodon is an asset;
- Strong interest in the mission of the Fondation Québécoise du Sida and HIV-related issues is an asset.

- Permanent contract
- 28 hours per week with a 6-month probation period
- Starting salary: $27.66 per hour
- Paid leave: 8% of salary
